YAMAHA PSR-630

Last month my Yamaha PSR-630 power cable connection got damaged / broken. I opened the keyboard and checked and I found out that inside board broken. Where can I repair / replace the board inside. Its available in the market this model keyboard now. Please help.

i had the same problem with my PSR-630, i had to open it up and re-solder the joints and now it works agian

How can a person order a manual for a PSR-630/-730?

Hello. I have a friend who recently bought a used YAMAHA PORTATONE PSR-630/-730. It didn't come w/ an owner's manual. He doesn't have a computer, so I promised I would try to locate a manual for him. I found a PDF copy online, but because he doesn't have a computer & the manual is 176 pages long, it would be best if he could order a copy to be sent to him.
Please let me know how he can get his hands on a manual for this keyboard.

Hi. Thank you for your response. Yes, I still need the manual, but I need a hard copy mailed to my friend, not a pdf file. He doesn't have a computer. Do you know how I could get one?

Yamaha PSR 630 keyboard power on /0ff no power problem

I HAVE A QUESTION CONCERNING MY YAMAHA PSR 630 KEYBOARD

DOES THIS PARTICULAR KEYBOARD HAVE A FUSE INSIDE THE BODY IF SO WHERE WOULD IT BE LOCATED
THE REASON FOR ASKING IS : I HAVE NO POWER ON MY KEYBOARD IT ISN'T THE ADAPTER BECAUSE I PLUGGED IN ANOTHER KEYBOARD THE SAME MODEL INTO MY ADAPTER AND I GOT POWER , SO NOW I AM WONDERING WHAT MY PROBLEM WOULD BE NOT HAVING POWER ON MY KEY BOARD. I WOULD LIKE FOR SOMEONE TO LET ME KNOW WHERE AND WHAT I COULD LOOK FOR TO GET POWER BACK ON THIS KEYBOARD

Hi I just had the same problem with my psr 630 and found the incoming 12v plug on the keyboard itself was faulty I.e it was loose inside the female plug on the electronic card will have to be renewed .I only noticed this when I wiggled the plug itself and found it clicked on and off on the speaker .So maybe it’s worth a look at

IS THERE ANY ONE THAT CAN HELP ME I NEED A FACTORY FLOPPY TO RE INSTATE LOST VOICE AND STYLE
INFORMATION TO PLAY THIS KEYBOARD IT'S A YAMAHA PSR 630 NOUGHTING WAS SAVED TO FLOPPY I BOUGHT IT
WITH OUT A FACTORY FLOPPY AND I WAS CLEANING STICKY KEYS AND REMOVED THE WIRING TO PULL OUT THE KEYS AFTER CLEANING I PUT EVERY THING BACK AS BEFORE RECHECKED MY WORK AND THE KEY BOARD WORKS BUT NO VOICE OR STYLES ARE NOT PLAYING SO IF ANY ONE CAN SELL ME ONE OR MAKE A COPY I WILL BUY IT GIVE ME A PRICE RANGE THANK YOU MY PHONE # IS 1-602-513-3279 AGAIN MY NAME IS ART THANK YOU.

Dear Fred: As your Wart delivers power to the other PSR 630, it could be that the On/Off Switch of YOUR unit is defective or dirty. Of course there could be other circuit problems.If you have no experience in repair work,you probably should take your keyboard to a professional for attention.
