Highly Recommended: Go here for the BEST piano/keyboard course I’ve seen on the Internet.

This synthesizer is targeted to semi-professional musicians and home/project studio owners as well as songwriters and performers. If you're in search of a synthesizer that provides full set of authentic sounds and comprehensive music-making features, you've found it. And in addition. the Yamaha M06 Music Production Synthesizer places emphasis on contemporary styles and voices. Perfect for creating club, urban pop, dance, hip hop, techno, R&B, electronica, or other contemporary styles of popular music.

Yamaha MO6

The Yamaha MO6 has 61 weighted, touch-sensitive keys, 64-note polyphony, 256 performance presets, 256 user presets, a backlit graphic LCD, 5-band master EQ, as well as USB and S/PDIF outs for digital connectivity.

Other features include 512 original, realistic instrument voices, 64 drum kits, 128 GM tones, a GM drum kit, modern and vintage synth models. In addition, the Yamaha MO 6 comes with 18 responsive, realtime filters and over 200 high-quality effects for sound shaping and signal processing.

And if you think that is impressive check out the sequencer that the MO 6 comes with. The song sequencer includes a pattern mode, phrase building, and a one-key arpeggiator with as many as 1700 sequenced phrases. You can even control your favorite sequencer software from the keyboard itself via USB. The Yamaha MO 6 synthesizer is also Studio Connections compatible. So you can make and save MO settings to a song within software such as Cubase SX and Nuendo, and use recall to restore settings later. Imagine being able to seamlessly access the MO right from the sequencer, thanks to Audio Integration.

Last time I checked, the MO6 was being sold for about 1200 bucks. I call that value for money. I've also read some very positive customer reviews on the instrument. Go here to check out the Yamaha MOX6.
