No sound coming through headphones when plugged into output

I have a Yamaha P120 piano. For some reason, there is no sound coming through the headphone when I plug in to the output slots. What could be the problem? Appreciate any help.

Some troubleshooting steps:

- try different headphones

- your headphone is connected through a 3.5 to 6.3 adaptor plug. Make sure the plug is stereo. Try with different plugs

- clean and remove dust from the socket

- if these don’t work, the socket may be failing. Call a repair shop
