YAMAHA PSR 3000

I love my PSR 3000 which really has great sounds whether it be strings, piano or guitar. Especially nylon strings are fabulous. I would rate this as one of the best purchase for me, though I have not tried PSR S900. May be I will wait for any other new invention from Yamaha stable before I buy yet another keyboard. XG light too is interesting, moreover, it has line input for MIC as well.

PSR-S900 & PSR-S700 both great
by: Anonymous

I also have a PSR-2000 that I dearly love. However, just bought a new PSR-S700 for the internet connection and better sounds. Wish I'd spent a little more to get the S900 because it features Vocal Harmony like the PSR-2000. The S700 does everything else except that, as far as I can tell. The sound from the PSR-S700 is much, much fuller than the PSR-2000 and the Styles are lots better and more professional. Go with the S900 if you can afford it, otherwise the S700 will do a great job if you don't need the Vocal Harmony feature.

PSR3000 or S900

The psrs900 is the replacement for the prs3000 - they are almost identical - believe the biggest difference is the number of styles(backup sequences) the 3000 has 240 and the 900 has 281. thats a ton of styles no matter which you choose. The deciding factor for my purchase was price since they are identical - save the extra styles - The guitar center had a really sweet deal on the last 3000 they had in the store so I bought it - if you can't find a deal like that and the prices are the same then I would get the 900.
