My keyboard psr 2100 will trip off after a minute or two is a software or hardware problem and how do i correct it. Thanks in advance

The actual plug that goes into the keyboard can develop a fault at the female pin that connects to the male pin in the input socket.
Also due to wear and tear the wire inside the cable from the power unit can break inside the plastic without it showing and can give false voltage meter readings.
With the power unit plugged in and the keyboard on, bend the cable gently in your fingers while moving slowly along the cable and see if all becomes normal, if it does then you know there is a break in that cable.
Always look for the simplest things.
