PSR 2000 transfer files to PSR 910
by: Dick Rector

Hi Jabba,

Yes in general you can transfer any of the sounds and styles from one keyboard to another. However the S910 has Megavoices and Super Articulated Voices and they don't exist in the PSR2000.
But that is easy to correct if you download (for free) from PSRTUTORIAL.COM Michael Bedesem's MIDIPLAYER (first the whole program and than the latest update over it).
Run your files trough this wonderful program, it will correct in a batch, if at all possible, any failures and also it will replace GM (General Midi) voices to the by far more exiting XG etc. voices of the PSR910 (and other Yamaha models).
You have to do some easy to do settings in this program.
You will also find TONS of free styles, voices, midi's, multipads etc.

Good luck and have fun with your new PSR910.
(Made me jealous..... I own a PSR 2000.)

Dick
