Yamaha PSR S900 Adaptor
by: Alfred

Dear Kelly: Dick Rector always "looks before leaping". I'm afraid I'm too quick to see the finer details. He's right about the warranty period. Good luck.

powersupply
by: Dick Rector

Hi Kelly,

Alfred is right, (as always) but it might not be the powersupply.
Your keyboard is still under guarantee if it is only 6 months old and I advice you to go back to the dealer and let them sort out the problem. Don't wait to long, if it something inside the keyboard you might ruin more and DON'T open it yourself for guarantee reasons.
Let us know what it was please.

Regards
Dick

Adaptor for Yamaha PSR S900
by: Alfred

Dear Kelly: You are probably right about the Adaptor being defective. It COULD BE that the (Secondary) winding of the Adaptor is heating up and fails shortly after current is flowing. If this is the case, a new Adaptor is the best solution. It is impractical to attempt any repair. Thank you for contacting this Forum, and please let us know the outcome. Good luck.
PS - Your English is perfectly understandable.
