PSR E 203

Dear Anonymous: Dick Rector and Aswin have given you excellent advice. You should also know that
corroded/dead Batteries can result in Reverse Polarity which can harm the circuitry of your keyboard As to the Power Adaptor you will need, buy a Yamaha PA 5 or PA 150. They both have the same Output: 12vdc 1.5 Amp. As a return favor to Dick, Aswin and me, please post a follow-up response identifying yourself so we know with whom we are communicating. It will serve as a "bond" uniting Forum participants. Thanks.

Battery problem?
by: Aswin

Hey keyboardist!

It seems you have not used your keyboard in battery mode for a so long period that the batteries got corroded. My suggestion is to remove the batteries immediately after your usage; because any battery, in any electronic instrument, starts leaking and corroding if not in use for a long time.

manual
by: Dick Rector

Hello person with no name,

Go to: www.yamaha.co.jp/manual/english/index.php

Type the name of your keyboard in the appropriate box and you can download a manual in PDF format.

No, standard (good quality) batteries are fine but be sure to clean the contacts in your keyboard if they are corroded by leaking batteries or the fresh ones will have no function. Check your batteries often!
