Comments for Yamaha PSR 2100 was opened & dust was removed, now certain function buttons won't work

Dear Alfred,

Thanks a lot for the prompt response, I tried resetting the settings but to no avail.

I guess it might be a hardware issue, so i think i better call the Yamaha guys. Hope i would get some +ve response.

Dear Elgine: I hope you were not over-enthusiastic about cleaning out your unit. Hopefully a full "Factory Reset will clear your problems. Press the last white key PLUS the last three black keys down while SIMULTANEOUSLY turning the instrument ON. If this suggestion does not work, contact........................

and ask them to recommends a technician close to you. Let's hope a reset will work, and remember that if you want to clean you unit of dust, do not open it. Simply apply a strong vacuum. Good luck and thanks for the visit.
