Yamaha Musicsoft Downloader issue

by Joseph Paravate

I am using Musicsoft Downloader to upload MIDI flie to a Yamaha YPG-225. In order to get it to work, I have to go to the computer Control Panel, specifically the Yamaha MIDI driver and enable it. Only then will the upload function occur. I think this is a software qwirk. I'm waiting for an explanation from Yamaha. If you have any thought, please let me know. Thanks.

Disappointed with Yamaha psr e413...
by: Dave

According to yamaha YOU CANNOT simply transfer your recorded sessions directly to the computer, you need to purchase a "software based MIDI sequencer".
So what should have been drag and drop simplicity, has become rocket science for those who arent familiar with digital music.
Im totally disappointed with my yamaha product.

transfer from instrument (PSR-E413)
by: Herberth

I just bought Yamaha PSR-E413. I have tried many times to transfer from my instruments to my computer.I have openned my MusicSoft downloader ver.5.5,and click electrical Musical Instruments. And always appear Flash Memory and System drive folder. I tried to find to get User1 folder or whatsoever. but I couldn't (which I can transfer from my instruments to my computer). I need someone who can help me, especially from Yamaha. otherwise I have to return the instruments back since I found it is useless. Please send your comments into my email :herberth_s@yahoo.com
