Yamaha CSP 170 issue

Please help:( i wanted to post this here because there was no 'yamaha csp' section. i have bought the new csp 170. And there is a feature that lets you input a random song from your itunes/music library and gives you a basic score of that song. but when i ought to do that, to every single song i try, it says "This Data cannot be selected. " and it says that for EVERY song. I dont know what to do:(

Hi , I am in a piano store looking to buy a Csp 150B and it suppose to be able to produce music sheet for any song from my iTunes music library but it is not doing it and the sales person says it does not have this ability and only does that with stored songs in the piano.

Hi!
Here is how I doing that. Grab any song from my library (MP3) and forward by email to myself. From ipad or iphone connected to the piano it can be imported to Smart Pianist app directly then.

I’ve been reviewing the CSP-170 and the SmartPianist app. It looks like 2 things have to happen for the app to be able to use your music: 1. You have to download the song to your phone. The app can’t use it if it’s only being streamed from iCloud or your Apple Music subscription. 2. From my experience, only downloaded songs that you purchase are eligible to use with the app. If you only listened to the song thru your AppleMusic subscription, then you don’t own it (you’re renting it) and can’t use it with SmartPianist. Try this and see if it helps.
