Opening CLP-1xx Cabinets
by: Anonymous

My CLP-150, which was manufactured in the same time frame, has two screws on the front of the cabinet, just under the lid edge, in the far right and far left corners. The screws are difficult to see. you will have to get low and look up to find them.

When those two screws are removed, lift the front edge of the cabinet top. The hinges are in the rear.

Once open, on the right side of the cabinet interior, there is a "stand bar" that folds down to hold the cabinet top open. Put the foot of the Stand Bar into the round hole on the right side of the cabinet. The top will remain open and stable.

opening clp-30 housing
by: Anonymous

On my clp-30, there are 4 screws on the bottom-two at each end. This will allow you to lift open the heavy cover...helps to have a pillow or two in back so the wires are not streched when you swing the cover open on its hinges. To remove and clean the keys, there is a front bracket that then needs to come off...lots of screws on the bottom front side. Again, this is for my clp-30 but may be the same for yours. Good luck.

Missing Screws
by: Trev Bottomley

The screws are usually underneath on the bottom. But there is usually quite a lot. When removed the top[ should come off.
