MIDI transfers to 3.5" floppy.

Hi, my name is Pete. I have several of the Clavinova Disk Orchestra software floppies and I am looking for newer music to play on my CVP-75. Since MIDI music is available can I download the MIDI files onto my PC and then transfer them to a 3.5" floppy utilizing an externa 3.5" floppy drive connected to my PC? I also have the ability to direct connect to my CVP-75 utilizing a cable but I am not sure that the cabling is still available.
