keyboard problems

on my yamaha electone model 115D ,the top keyboard half off the keys to the right dont work., the other half is working properly and in general everything also is working too., can u please give me an advise or what to do to fix this problem

Dear Tony: I believe your 115D to be a 1979-80 vintage unit, and that the keys to which you refer are for selection of Solo Instruments? Be that as it may, and based on the coincidence that I have and still play a slightly earlier vintage Electone DK 40C Spinet,I can only tell you that if you "love" your unit enough it may be well worth having a qualified technician effect a repair. However, if you find that the cost is high, you might consider the alternative of searching Ebay for a used portable Yamaha keyboard, with a guarantee to be 100% working and with option to return.
