How to make MP3 files with Yamaha CLP 280?

I have a yamha CLP 280 el piano with beautiful sounds (in headphones...). I would like to make MP3/wav files for making cd or distribute my music. I have a portable PC (USB2 connection). Do I need a spesial SW?.... How to get music tranferred to PC?

Hello Lars Erik,

Download for free a program called AUDACITY, make a connection between keyboard HEADPHONE OUT computer LINE IN.

Keep in audacity the default setting and press record, play your music on the keyboard, keep the peaks between the lines in audacity.
When finished save the file as mp3. Then you can burn it to cd.
!!!! While recording shut down as many background programs as possible like firewall etc. to avoid dropouts in the music!!!!
Music recording is an complex progress and uses a lot of your CPU.
