The Mic that came with the Yamaha CVP700 works as I had it tested on another device. But not when it's plugged into the CVP700 Mic jack?

If the microphone that came with your Yamaha CVP700 works on other devices but not when it's plugged into the CVP700's mic jack, there are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

1. Check the microphone volume: Make sure the microphone volume is turned up on the CVP700. You can adjust the microphone volume by pressing the "Mic Volume" button on the control panel or by going into the "Mic Settings" menu in the display.

2. Check the mic jack: Make sure the microphone is securely plugged into the mic jack on the CVP700. You can try unplugging and replugging the microphone to make sure it's connected properly.

3. Check the mic settings: Make sure the microphone is selected as the input source in the CVP700's mic settings. You can access the mic settings by pressing the "Function" button on the control panel and then selecting "Mic Settings" from the menu.

4. Check for interference: Make sure there are no other devices or cables near the microphone or mic jack that could be causing interference or static.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, there may be a problem with the mic jack on your CVP700. In this case, you should contact Yamaha customer support or a qualified technician for further assistance.
