by: Bill Canada

I have a CVP 401 and must admit I have no idea about all the gadgets on the 401.

Just learning how to play and seeing as I am older than dirt things sink in then they leak right out again.(whoosh)

Sure am glad I found and joined this site have been picking up tips here and there thank you all for your kind help.

Dick I have sent you my email would appreciate it if you could send me the file so I can see if I can do that also.

Bill

USB instead of floppydrive
by: Dick Rector

Hello dear B&S,

Short answer for CD or DVD, sorry it is NO, the keyboards electronics are not up to it.
You can however replace the floppydrive for an USB-floppy-emulator like I have done last year in my keyboard and I wrote many times to people on this forum about it.
On a special formatted USB-flashdrive you can store 100 floppies and let me tell you that is a lot! It works like a dream.
I am not the vendor and I am not advertising a product here but if you send me your email-address I am more than pleased to send you a zipfile with all the info, how it works, how to replace it, the software you need for it and where to get it and specially where NOT (as you need a modification on it to work in a keyboard).
