I have an early 1990s Yamaha Clavinoca cvp 50. I am trying to sell it but I have no idea how much to ask. It is in great shape and has about 15 disks.....pre CDs. I have looked around the web but the range is anywhere from 50 to 1000. Any help would be appreciated.

I am a dealer of clavinova for over 30 years. the book value of a cvp 50 is 200.00 max. don't pay a dime more for it. If you want to get something far more up to date and availability of parts and a three year in home service warranty, new yamaha digitals start at less than 800.00 with a full 88 note much better action piano than the cvp 50. If you want something with similar features, rhythm, accompaniment and 10X the number of features as the cvp 50, look at yamaha's ydp-240 arius model. for hundreds of dollars less than 2,000.00. you wouldn't go out and spend a 1,000.00 on a 1989 computer, would you?
