The quality of the amplifier will have a great effect on the quality of the sound. I use computer amplifier for my Yamaha piano but the sound quality is poor. I connect my PSR 200 to a 60 watt Toshiba amplifier with decent speakers and the sound is amazing.

There is a Jack on your unit for plugging in the Headphones; using a patch cord (WITH CORRESPONDING PLUGS AT EACH END)connect your unit from there to your amplifier. There could be a 'mismatch' of speaker impedence between the keyboard and the amplifier, but (in my limited experience)if not too great the result should be an improvement over what you are currently hearing.

You can use either an FC4 Sustain foot pedal (Piano Style) or FC5 Foot switch style sustain pedal with your Yamaha PSR-275. You can order this online. Try zZounds.
