yamaha S08 transpose

I need to find out how to transpose the S08 so I don't have to physically transpose each song note by note? I read in the manual that it is found under CONTROLLER (4) kbd trans (p67), but I don't know how to get there.

I am able to transpose on the Yamaha S08, but it reverts to piano. I want to play in other instuments. Thanks.

Hi, I must have accidently transposed my keyborad a half step down and now I can't reset it back to normal. I tried doing what you suggested for the previous question and it does work. However, when I change the instrument back to piano, it gose back to that.

Any thoughts?

Thanks so much. This works great. The only problem is that it won't let you keep the sound you want. It defaults to regular piano sounds and we want it to stay on strings. Any ideas?

1. press "multi"
2. press "edit"
3. press "+" and "-" together
4. press "down arrow" twice
5. Use scroll wheel to select the transposition
6. press "store"
