Yamaha PSR E313 vs. Yamaha YPT 310

by Charletta

I noticed that the user manual for both of these products is the same. What is the difference between the two keyboards? I have found the YPT 310 cheaper than the PSR E313. Are they one and the same or two different keyboards as listed on the Yamaha site?

Same units - Different Yamaha Codes
by: Alfred

Dear Fellow Forum Members: I believe Yamaha (in their infinite wisdom ?!?) markets some of their units with different prefixes and codes EVEN IF THE UNIT IS ONE AND THE SAME!! They seem to enjoy frustrating their customers like you and me with this ridiculous practice as they make no effort to enlighten the public (potential customers) with a clear explanation which is: BASICALLY, DEPENDING ON WHETHER THE UNIT IN QUESTION IS SOLD TO A DISTRIBUTOR, OR A SALES OUTLET!!! Go figure!!!!!
PS - This Yamaha mentality is evidenced in some of their other models too!
