Yamaha DGX620 weight for shipping to APO

(Iraq)

Greetings all,

After wanting to learn to play piano like forever, I am now in Iraq with time to enjoy this venture. A brief search for a weighted keyboard led me to the DGX620 but I'm seeing the shipping weight is 85 lbs which is too heavy for US Post Office to send to an APO. I am guessing that this weight would include the bench and upright legs. Does anyone know the weight of just the keyboard without the other parts as I might consider shipping it in 2 seperate boxes. Anyone in the sales end of this know of a solution? Are there other keyboards of this quality that I should consider. I'm pretty much a Yamaha fan so to speak so
Thank you.

And then I read about the DGX630. Hmmmm. 64 poly sounds like it would work much better. I am however tempted by the Roland RD700SX which will also be upgraded to a newer model. I guess the biggest issue is who will ship it via USPS instead of UPS or Fedex since those options aren't available(economically that is). But anyway...the 630(YPG635 and listed by music shops vice places like Costco, Best Buy or other commercial stores)should weigh in close to the same as the older model.

Cheers,
Wayno
