floppydrive

Hi Bob,

The answer in both cases is yes.
You can replace the drive (if you can still find one)
But since a short time there is a replacement 1 to 1 size and the same connections. It uses a USB-flash drive and it holds 100 floppy's max. It fools the keyboard and is called USB-Floppy-Emulator.
I have replaced the floppydrive in my PSR2000 about a month ago and I am VERY happy with it. No more floppy's or moving parts.
If you are interested you find the vendor at:

trungtal@gmail.com in Vietnam.

There are a few minor tricky bits when you first start using it, but as said MINOR.
Although I have nothing to do with the vendor, if you send me your mailaddress I will send you a zipfile with info of my experiences with it and some pictures from the vendor. I am sure he doesn't mind.

Hope this helps you.
