E not working
by: Geoff

A friend couldn't get middle E to play on his PSR 295 yesterday evening. It happened on a previous occasion, but seemed to correct itself a day or two later for no obvious reason. Will get back if we find an answer.

PSR-E313 E keys not functioning
by: Anonymous

I have a Yamaha PSR E313 and E keys (all octaves) intermittently stop working and then come back suddenly. Please - if someone knows it this can be fixed, let me know. I will have to get a new keyboard otherwise - it's almost new!

E not working
by: Geoff

For the PSR295 previously mentioned, a 'reset' restored the E on one occasion, cleaning the contact on another.
I think the factory reset is pressing the + and - keys at the same time (as on the PSR413e). Sometimes resets are made by holding down one of the keys while switching the unit on. I don't know if such an option exists on these models.

Holding + and -
by: Kayte

Geoff... Thanks! I was having this problem too. The "reset" worked for my weird intermittently silent-keyed piano.
