Here are the best three!

I have a Tyros2 and a PA1X pro( the new PA2Xpro should be even better}and both are superb in their own ways. The Roland E-80 should also be excellent.

Best Keyboards for Live Performance
by: Rockinroller

I use two keyboards on stage during my performances with both a classic rock and a blues band. They are:

1. GeneralMusic Equinox Synth- this is probably the most underrated Hammond clone in the market. They stopped producing these about 10 years ago but the Equinox is one of the most powerful synths, even compared with today's Fantoms, Motifs, etc. plus it features a Leslie effect to die for (not to mention the 1100 factory presets). It's easy to maneuver through on-stage to switch sounds, etc. and there's tons of storage to keep your favorites for EZ accessing. You can occasionally find these on Ebay and C.L. in the $400 range.
2. Yamaha DGX series - I currently have the 88-note version, DGX 520 but the DGX series in general (starting with the 200s) are all great basic boards. The Yamaha pianos are unrivaled and the ease of maneuvering through the model's 500 sounds make it a great go-to board for live performing. Plus Yamaha has extrordinary strings, horns, reeds and synth sounds as well.
