UX-16 Required
by: Tyler

If you have a Yamaha keyboard buy their universal MIDI connection cable the UX-16 device with Midi in&out cables (stick into back end of your keyboard). Then with USB side, stick that into your computer. A light will go on indicating connectivity when the power is on to your computer after it's connected.

Make sure the back end of your keyboard has MIDI!

USB
by: Crappy_Apple

It depends on the type of Keyboard/piano you have. I have a YPG-625 and the USB cable mine requires can be purchased ot your local office supply store (Office Depot, Office Max, Staples, etc) or any place that sells electronics and computer equip. ie.... cCircuit City, Best Buy, etc. For me, the biggest question is compatibilty with your OS system.

Anyway... hope this helps.
