Where do I get my lcd display fixed or repaired? I have a verticle line going down the middle.

Don't know where you can repair your psr3000 keyboard, but it's a shame how so many are having problems with the Yamaha PSR3000 display. There's another thread on this site where others were complaing about the PSR3000 display.

LCD Failure

I lost the screen on my MM6 last night. It just wouldn't boot up like it does normally. I get sound but can't adjust anything due the the lack of the LCD. I've only had it 9 months. I'm just glad I wasn't gigin' this week. I took it back to where I purchased it. I had also bought the extended waranty. In the process of getting it repaired. Anyone else have this problem with the MM6?

Psr screen problem

I bought my psr 3000 in 2007,just after 13 months the vertical lines began to appear.now almost half of it had those lines.my supplier told me that it would cost 30% of the keyboard price to get it done.why are the people at yamaha seem to ignore this serious problem?it is a fantastic instrument that i have ever work with.

MM6 Broken display

Apparently this is a common problem in the MM6. My screen has went completely blue. It started with the verticle lines and eventually went out all the way. It sux because it's supposed to be a midi keyboard as well. U can't midi if you cant see the friggin display!!! Does anyone know how much it costs to fix?

MM6 - LCD FAILURE

I've also had tons of issues with my MM6's LCD display. I've had it in the shop once and Yamaha covered the cost b/c a jumper was set wrong at the factory. Worked fine until this month. Back to a blue screen. Great sounds but I can't see how to change sounds, etc., obviously. VERY frustrating. And I AM gigging.... this sux!

Spent time on the Yammy site getting their #.. Of course, they're PST and it's the weekend. Did I mention this sux?!

Would love to hear any of your solutions. Is it a wiring issue, I wonder?

Yamaha PSR 3000 DISPLAY PROBLEM

This seems to be a regular problem with the yamaha PSR 3000 display. Mine has developed vertical lines and becomes very difficult to follow the display. Great arranger board but sad that Yamaha is not addressing theses problems. My Keyboard is just 2 years old and would not expect this quality from yamaha. The Display Costs around 375 USD that is almost 40 % of the cost of the Keyboard. Really wish that yamaha to help us procure the spare at a cheaper price at the least.
