The recommended adaptor for the Yamaha YPT400 is the PA3C Power adaptor.

To add to my response, while Yamaha recommends the PA3C adaptor, any adaptor with similar specifications will do. Look out for the following:

12v (12 volts)
700mA (700 milliamps)
+ tip polarity (positive tip polarity)

PA130 is newer, "replaces" PA3C

Yamaha's site says the PA3C is being replaced by the PA130. Same applies to the PA150 replacing the PA5D. Anyone familiar with these newer models?
