Yamaha YPG 535 Review

by Lisa Werst
(Austin, Texas)

Yamaha YPG 535 Review

This keyboard SUCKS! I had to exchange it twice at the store and still the A-flat(g sharp) buzzes. It has buzzed for so long now that I dare not play a song with any a-flats. It is so terrible- the most terrible part is I paid almost $600 for a keyboard that I can't even take anywhere because it makes awful noises no matter what speakers I use. The speakers on the keyboard are awful, buzzy, fuzzy and I just HATE it!

whats wrong?
by: Dick Rector

Dear Lisa,

You are 'Barking at the wrong tree' I believe is the English expression.
We are NOT Yamaha and we have nothing to do with the factory, but we are enthusiast keyboard/piano players profs or non-profs, who are trying to help others if they have a problem or question.
I am sorry you are not happy with your instrument and I would suggest to take it back and choose a different one or another brand.
Something must be wrong with the present one (or with the connected equipment!) as this is not a normal behavior of any brand of keyboard.

Regards
Dick

Review YPG 535
by: Alfred

Dear Lisa: My friend Dick Rector has diplomatically assuaged your problem. Great work!

In case you prefer to contact a local Yamaha Repair Shop, here's their site locator............

http://yamaha.com/yamahavgn/CDA/Service/ServicerLocator/0,,VNM%3DLIVE,00.html

They should be able to give the service which one expects of Yamaha.

Have Model and Serial number at hand, and explain your problem. Charge(s)for any repair(s),should be well worth the investment, so that you can continue enjoying your unit.

Please do not hesitate to come back to us if you still have comments/questions (before or after you take any action). We will help as needed. Till then keep well.

PS - Dick, fantastic job. Regards,

Alfred
