Yamaha versus Technics digital piano

I am looking to buy a digital piano for my two young boys. I am looking on Craigslist for used models. I am not sure if I should stick with a particular brand or not. The two that I like so far are the Yamaha Clavinova and the Technics. Could you tell me the difference and which one I should go with?

Dear Belinda: A Forum participant who has had experience with the two brands of Digital Piano may submit a non-biased comment which might help you in your decision. Be aware however thet there was a write-up about Technics going out of business, an parts may become scarce in the future. I can only attest to having purchased a Yamaha Electone Spinet in 1978, and it's stiil going strong!! This may be a fluke. I own two other Yamaha and one Casio keyboard, and they are holding up fine. After you have decided, do not hesaitate to come back to this Forum if you have any questions/comments regarding your Digitasal Piano. You are always welcome.

Entirely up to you of course but Technics does not make keyboards anymore.
