Yamaha Tyros - How to put registrations on the USB memory stick

Hi,

I recently bought a Tyros 3 Keyboard and love it. What I would like to know is how can I transfer information like registrations that I've set up and want to save to a Memory stick. The reason I want this is when I move from job to job I can take all my info in a very small stick and not in the keyboard. I need a step by step exsplanation on how to do this.

Hi,

If you go to: psrtutorial.com or yamahapkowner.com you will find all the info you are looking for.
Lately on both fora have been extensive discussions about this.
Be aware that when you have your registrations and 'savings' on a USB-drive and you put it in another keyboard, even when it is the same model, the regs most likely can NOT find what you want because they need exactly the same 'path' as in the original instrument. Meaning, you have to, on the second keyboard, tell the regs where the style-files are. For instance 'in the user area' or on the USB-stick itself etc.

I hope I guided you to the right 'path'.
