yamaha to pc file transfer

I use a yamaha dxg 220 want to transfermy recording to pc. I'm, using the communication software provided by yamaha Musicsoft Downloader. When I open the software I can see by C drive but when I open the Electronic Musical Instruments nothing shows and the connection test fail connection to Microsoft Gs driver

Try the PC mode option

hi Fedrico,

You need to set your yamaha to PC mode 1 or 2 before you can start the file transfer. Even I had the same problem and I set my Yamaha to PC1 (or PC2) and it worked with MusicSoft sw. I am sure your model must be having a USB connection.
