Yamaha keyboard review ... The Yamaha S90 keyboard.
Guide to choosing a Yamaha S90 keyboard.
This Yamaha keyboard is basically a combination of the best sounds of the Yamaha Motif as well as the features of the Yamaha S series. It is also known for its three-layer piano sound.
I tested the Yamaha S 90 at a music store a few months ago and was very pleased. I really enjoyed hearing its sounds, particularly the organs, pianos and synths.

The
Yamaha S90
consists of 88 weighted keys, just like the Yamaha Motif8. The Graded Hammer Effect that it has is very similar to that of an acoustic grand piano. Truly superb!
The Yamaha S90 has no sequencer, so if this is high on your list you wouldn't buy it. However, if you're looking for a keyboard with the competence of a keyboard like the famous Yamaha Motif but you can live without a sequencer, I would certainly recommend it to you.
Another thing I like is the fact that the Yamaha S 90 comes with a SmartMedia Playback card. This comes in handy for folks who like to play over tracks during live performances as well as those who just want to build up a library of songs.

I must admit that I do not own a S90 keyboard and that I obviously do not know everything about it. Perhaps there are some things that I may end up not liking about it. Who knows? But from my experience of messing around with it several times in a particular music store, I have to say hats off to Yamaha!
I have read user reviews of the Yamaha S90 keyboard all over the internet and I'm yet to find any reviews where it is not esteemed highly... A few negative comments here and there but nothing substantial.
Everyone has their own opinions, but as far as I'm concerned, the Yamaha S90 keyboard surpasses other keyboards in its class by far. I'd probably give it an edge over the Triton. After all what else do you expect from a Yamaha keyboard and Yamaha Motif freak like me? You can
