Yamaha S500

I have Yamaha S500 keyboard and i have downloaded some user styles on my pen drive. when i connect the pen drive with the keyboard it says "connecting" on the LCD screen but never gets connected. So i am unable to use my user tabla rhthyms which i have loaded on the pen drive. Please help me.

Hi Gladys,

If you can see the downloaded styles on the pen-drive on your computer-screen, they are there!
You do something wrong on the keyboard.

Are the styles made for the Tyros 3 or PSR S910?
You will not see them because they use a different format and have to be converted. Go to jososoft.dk and download the 'SSF2 to SSF1' program.

Should these style work in your keyboard anyhow?
Go to psrtutorial.com and download Michael Bedesem's MIDIPLAYER. That free program let you change your styles in a suitable format.

Another thing!
If you have more than 70 folders on your pen-drive or more than 250 files in a folder the keyboard can most likely not load that many as the internal flash-memory is very limited and you have to reduce the amount.
Hope you can find it now.
