Sustain Pedal

Dear James: Plug pedal into rear panel ("SUSTAIN)
Do this before energizing the keyboard, and do not press pedal while doing this. Next, energize keyboard.

my yamaha so8 sustain yamaha pedel does not work i read where it said put the plug into the sustain but this kybrd only has foot switch/footcontroller how can i get this pedel to work sedatrius
