Yamaha PSR3000 backlight dim

Yamaha PSR3000 It's about 4 years old and the LCD has suddenly gone very dim - it happened overnight - the adjustment on the back is at max and does function but the screen is hardly legible. there is no distortion or black lines or sections missing - it has just gone dim.
