Yamaha psr-2700 lcd backlight not working.

Hello, I have had this expensive piece of equipment for many many years and most of the time it has been stored away in the attic unused (its far too advanced for me) the lcd display light is not lighting up so nothing is visible on the screen, everything else seems to be working fine. Would really like some advice. Thanks

Jayne this might be stating the obvious but I had the very same thing and all it was was the little button at the back for making the screen brighter had been turned back by mistake.......
