Yamaha PSR-140 - Noisy from both speakers

it's a Yamaha PSR-140. from yesterday, "hissing noise" (or 'fuzzy' called?) coming from both speakers when I powered on (AC input), even I turned the volume down to lowest (silence), noise still there... it must be some kind electric part fault (might be the speakers?). Please help how I could do.

I bought the adaptor from fry's, which is an universal one with 1200mA/12V. it should not be a problem? i will clean it and see...

Noisy Speakers PSR 140

Dear Jack: 1) The plug of the Adaptor may be dirty. 2) The Adaptor may be defective. Try cleaning the plug. If problem still exists, try new Adaptor. If no change, you probably have a defective internal component which should be replaced by a qualified technician. Good luck.
