Yamaha PSR 240 works with batteries but not AC

I have a Yamaha PSR 240 and it works fine with batteries, but no longer works with the AC adapter. Yes, I tried a new AC adapter, so it's not that. Can someone please tell me what could be wrong with this keyboard? I'd like to try to fix it...

PSR 240. Wart dead.

Dear Kim: Consider the following advice. If you are adept at repair work, have the repair tools and testing equipment, open up the keyboard and make a backwaard continuity check from the Jack
till bad component(s) is/are identified. Replace component(s). Four other considerations deserve your attention: Worth of your keyboard; DIY time and labor; Cost of replacement parts vs cost of professional service shop help. The foregoing should result in the best course of action. Good luck.
