Yamaha psr 175

just bought the Yamaha psr 175.
1/ reading instruction book, and cant find anything to explain symbols above the keys? they look like drums and triangle etc.?

2/ the LEARN TO PLAY THE KEYBOARD BEGINERS BOOK,seams a bit vague/difficult, for a beginner (i cant understand it)
Can you recomend a BEGINNERS book/dvd etc that a complete beginner could understand?
