Yamaha P80 - stage piano
I would like to share a good news with the owners of Yamaha P80 piano. I live in Canada and I bought my instrument used from a private party. I have owned it for several years and have been very satisfied with the sound of it and a touch of the keyboard. Recently however the piano started developing problem with the keys. Some of the keys would get stuck and not return to original position. The problem rendered the instrument practically impossible to play. I researched the Internet to find out if anyone else has experienced the same problem. I found the related information in the following link:

The link discusses the issue I have experienced and Yamaha's commitment to excellence, meaning replacing the defect for free! So I decided to contact Yamaha support to see if my keyboard would be covered. After exchanging a few emails with the support staff I have been given contact to the local shop that replaced the entire keybed at no charge even though I wasn't the original owner and the piano being about 7 years old had expired warranty. I am really impressed with Yamaha and their commitment to the customers!
