Yamaha P 120 sound cut off

I've had my Yamaha P120 for several years and use it often. In the last few days, the sound has suddenly been cutting out for about 2 or 3 seconds. As I play cocktail music and wedding ceremonies, this could be a serious problem. Any suggestions? Or any ideas as to what it could be?
There is a power pack between the piano and the plug. Do these, after time, have a power cutoff if the piano volume is too loud?

P 120 Cut Off
by: Alfred

If the Adaptor (Power Pack)is new, it lacks sufficient amperage and may cause your problem, especially in loud passages of music. If original, and is somewhat hot to the touch, it may need to be replaced by a new one with the same original specs (Input & Output). Hope this helps. Good luck.

I replaced the powerpack, generic from Hong Kong (same specs)but same problem exists, whether using an amplifier or not. I asked Yamaha corporate for a repair service that can to a diagnostic test. Anybody have a suggestion. I live in NYC.
