Yamaha Mo6 - how to create a performance

How do I create a performance? I've watched tutorials on Youtube but one few I've viewed seems to skip a step. Can anyone help? I've just had my MO6 about a month and haven't read the complete manual -- it's a lot to absurb and I'm trying to learn it step by step.

Dear Kermit; I believe your approach (like a "Show & Tell" on Youtube) is smart. Yamaha Owner' Manuals are infamous for their poor editing, but you can't escape from the importance of reading them for important notes easily overlooked. Try to curb your enthusiasm for quick
