Yamaha DJX-II broken key?

I have a 6-7 year old DJX-II keyboard. The B key is broken: it doesn't make any sound. Sometimes if you press reaaaaaaaaaaaally hard, it works, but usually it doesn't. Is there a way I can fix this? Thanks alot.

..........The problem you describe is typical of a degraded rubber underlay pad, and is NOT a DIY project.
