touch sensitivity rubber
by: Roger Charles

Yes, I had this problem a long time ago with a Yamaha keyboard. It was a Yamaha PSR4000. A rubber below the keys went bad. It bursted and had holes/cuts at several places in the rubber. I couldn't find a replacement at the time and used electrical tape to cover these holes or breaks. This seemed to solve the problem but only very temporarily. Don't know if this is similar to your situation.
