Yamaha CVP- 94 disk drives

My Disk drive on my Yamaha CVP-94 digital piano Clavinova thinks it needs to format every disk that I put in it. even the pre-recorded ones that came with the piano! Why is it doing this? Does my disk drive need replaced?

Your Drive can't read sector 0

For whatever reason your floppy drive cannot read the boot sector on the disk you inserted and therefore thinks the disk is unformatted. It could be a bunch of bad disks, but is probably a bad drive. What happens if you tell it to go ahead and format the disk? If it can't, then the problem is the drive. Be aware of one possibility. I once found a business card in my drive that had gotten in there when I slipped a disk out of my pocket and into the drive. It was almost impossible to see, but the card was interfering with the drive's read function. Barring that, a new drive is in order. Any suitable 3.5" HD floppy drive should work.
