Yamaha CLP-250 - How do I do a factory reset

by Kris
(St. Louis)

Does anyone know how to do a reset on a Yamaha CLP-250? My clav has had a power surge and the sound is now distorted. The piano repair place told me to first try to do a Factory reset/restore before bringing it in for maintainance but I can't figure out how to do this. Any help will be GREATLY appreciated!

CLP 250 Factory Reset
by: Alfred

Dear Kriss: On some keyboards the procedure is to
press the last White Key AND the last three Black Keys while turning on the Power. This may apply to your unit. Good luck, and please post a follow-up Forum message if I'm right. It will be helpful to other members.
