Yamaha CLP-230: How to record what I play on the computer?
by Jerros
I have an usb-cable and the driver installed, and when using the programm "Musicsoft Downloader", it gives the '..instrument is connected to your computer properly' message. So everything seems fine. But when I try to acces stored songs (user 1-3)it shows nothing. Two folders pop up, one called 'Flash Memory', and the other 'system drive'. System Drive contains a .bup file, which is useless, and Flash Memory shows nothing whatsoever. So it seems that recording on the clp-230 iteself, and then transferring to the PC isn't going to happen. So is there a way to directly record on the computer, using the usb-connection on the clp-230? It seems to connect properly. What programms or stuff would I need for that? Thanks in advance!
