Yamaha CLP 150 and Sibelius

Hi, I have just bought a second hand Yamaha Clavinova (CLP 150). It came with no accessories! I noticed there is a USB port. Can I plug it into my laptop and record my playing using the Sibelius software?

Hi Iris,

First of all if you need a manual you can download one if you go to:
www.yamaha.co.jp/manual/english/index.php

Recording your MUSIC (NOT MIDI)to a pc is very easy when you use HEADPHONES OUT on the keyboard to LINE IN on the PC-soundcard.
I am not familiar with Sibelius or your model keyboard but if you send me your email-address (NOT ON THE FORUM - you will get a lot of rubbish) I will send you a step by step letter how to do it on any keyboard.
Simple and fun to do and you will be able to produce a CD-quality recording.
