Yamaha Clavinova CVP-405 LCD Screen - dead after just 9 months

I purchased a brand new CVP-405 less than 9 months ago and the LCD screen is dead. I have several questions - 1) is this common? 2) what are my options, 3) what is the expected life of an LCD screen, and 4) how much will this cost to replace once my warrantee is up?

Hi anonymous,

I usually don't react on messages with no name.
Take it back NOW to your supplier as it is still under warranty.
They should replace it without any cost. No it is not common but it happens and you had the bad luck.

This is a known issue. Contact who you bought it from and they'll fix it for free. They'll do an upgrade on the screen.
